Abbey is a senior triple major in English, Literary Publishing and Editing, and Women’s Studies with a minor in philosophy. Beyond The Laurel, Abbey is the president of SBU College Democrats, Vice President of SBU Book Club, a Writing Lab tutor, and a contributor for Her Campus. In her free time, Abbey enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends, and finding time to be outside. This is her second year as EIC. Her current favorite book is Stoner by John Williams.

AnnMarie Truesdell is a junior Literary Publishing & Editing and Philosophy of Law & Politics double major. She is the Her Campus President, Book Club President, Mock Trial Secretary, Phi Eta Sigma Vice President and involved in the Honors Program. AnnMarie also enjoys hangIng out with friends or family doing something creative or outdoors
Her current favorite book is The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab.

Lincoln is a sophmore English major with a classics minor.
Outside of academics, he likes watching soccer, backpacking, journaling, and selling clothes online. Like so many of us, picking a favorite book is difficult. His two favorites are East of Eden by John Steinbeck OR A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold.

Elsa is a junior English major with a minor in philosophy. She is the Women’s Club Soccer team captain. She is studying abroad is Croatia in the Spring ’27 semester. Outside of academics, Elsa enjoys hiking, reading, kayaking, and listening to music. You can catch her most times watching soccer, studying, or hanging out with friends. Her current favorite book is The Scarlet Letter by Nathanial Hawthorne.

Rose Pfeiffer is a sophomore Criminology, Philosophy: Law and Politics, and Communications, Social Justice, and Advocacy major and a Spanish minor. She is involved in the Laugh Pack and SPECTRUM. Outside of academics, Tessa enjoys writing, appreciating nature, scrapbooking, sewing, hanging with friends. Her favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Tyler is a junior English and Educational Studies double major with a minor psych. He is the Vice President of the Class of ’28, a Head Coordinator of Bona Buddies, President of Open Runs Basketball Club, an Orientation Leader,
Secretary of College Democrats, and plays on the club tennis team. In his free time, he enjoys reading and watching/playing tennis. Tyler’s current favorite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Outside of academics, he is working on his own novel and attends AKT Combatives Jujitsu academy.
